Bio: Robert M. Brandon is an attorney with more than 30 years of public policy, legislative, campaign and media experience at the federal, state and local levels. He currently coordinates the Campaign for College Affordability and is president and co-founder of the Fair Elections Legal Network. Brandon has helped run numerous national grassroots and media campaigns, including successful efforts involving state and local tax reform, utility and energy policy, expanded access to health insurance, a consumer-student coalition on affordable student lending and a successful campaign to end discriminatory practices in auto financing. Brandon is widely regarded as one of the nation’s leading consumer advocates and works closely with a variety of public interest groups throughout the country.
