Bio:
Alisha Thomas Morgan made history in November 2002 by becoming the first African-American to serve in the Georgia House of Representatives for Cobb County. At age 30, Morgan remains the youngest female member of the entire Georgia General Assembly. A veteran and lifetime member of the NAACP, Morgan is nationally-recognized for her accomplishments as a civic leader and community advocate. Professionally, Morgan helped develop and is Membership Manager of the Young Elected Officials and is Principal & CEO of Morganics, a people services company focusing on motivational speaking and training. A powerful political voice, inspirational speaker and empowering trainer, Morgan is one of today’s trailblazing architects for change.
